GETTING TO KNOW FASHION MODEL SHERRIE KHAZANI

How did you get started in the fashion industry?

Sherrie: I got started in the fashion industry around 2018. I started on social media more centered around beauty, & makeup. But after some time I started delving more towards fashion & lifestyle. My page has been focused on this ever since. Fashion, lifestyle, & sometimes a little beauty sprinkled in.

Since starting, I’ve gone to incredible heights. I’ve worked with dream brands like Revolve, done campaigns with Good American, & attended countless events as well as fashion shows.

What are some of your favorite types of projects to work on?

Sherrie: My favorite types of projects to work on are the ones that are with brands I already organically use, & allow me creative freedom to do what I want. For instance, I just did a Good American LBD campaign where I got to style the dresses how I wanted before shooting. I really got to put my own little stamp into it, making it feel really authenthic & fun.

What is your favorite brand? What do you like most about them?

Sherrie: My favorite brand currently is Alo Yoga. I’ve been consistently going to yoga this year & it has changed my life. I started shopping at Alo this year & now I can’t stop. They have the perfect mix of trendy athleisure meets aesthetic yoga queen & I cannot get enough. The quality, fits, color schemes, it’s all perfect.

What advice do you have for people looking to get more out of social media?

Sherrie: Using social media consciously is key. If you’re on there for entertainment, what are you getting out of the content you consume on there? Its important to follow only those who you feel vibrationally aligned with. Whether it be brands, celebrities, influencers, or even friends/family. Follow those who make you feel good or inspired. As far as social media growth, the key is to just start. Being consistent, keeping up with social media trends to stay ahead in the algorithm, & truly being authentic to yourself. If you’re having fun, it shows, and people want to be a apart of that.
