GETTING TO KNOW FASHION MODEL KAYLA RENEE

How did you get started in the fashion industry?

Kayla: I’ve always had a love for fashion and decided to bring it to life with a foot in the door modeling for a local agency in California. I began doing runway and print work when I was a teenager and then took that experience and applied it to social media.

What is your favorite brand? What do you like most about them?

Kayla: My favorite brands are Yves Saint Laurent or Christian Dior. I think these designers are timeless, wearable, classy and consistent which are big contributing factors to what clothing I wear.

What advice do you have for people looking to get more out of social media?

Kayla: You will receive a thousand no’s before you get your first yes, but don’t let those no’s discourage you. For every no you get, let it be the contributing factor and motivation to keep going. You will receive that golden yes one day! Don’t be afraid to post on social media, don’t be afraid to apply to to that agency, don’t be afraid to make that TikTok. It could be that one move that’s your gate to success.
