GETTING TO KNOW FASHION MODEL AND INFLUENCER ANGEL FATIMA PEREA

How did you get started in the fashion industry?

Angel: At the age of 14 I started to model as well as enter myself into the fashion industry, and I did the most basic thing and attended modeling classes. By the time that I was almost 15 I did my first fashion show and I continued to do a few fashion shows until I grew my Instagram by the age of 16 which allowed me to do more modeling outside of my state for more brands and much bigger brands by growing my Instagram. I was also able to grow my own personal Brand and make a good income that I get to have fun and experiment with their lenses.

I live in Texas at the moment and travel to LA very often for my modeling jobs. Currently I am studying aviation and real estate as well I am the first American citizen in my family I travel to my families country which is Mexico City frequently throughout the year to visit my family members and do some modeling jobs down there as well I really say it’s home to me.

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?

Angel: Whenever I have a free day I like to get my house in order to get a good workout in pick up the groceries that I need for the week, figure out all the jobs I have coming up in the following days and just put everything in order to be able to go swim throughout the day and just do some fun stuff that I usually don’t have time for.

What are some locations on your bucket list to travel to, and why?

Angel: Some locations on my current bucket list are the Maldives, Dubai, Tokyo, Japan, Argentina, some people may think these are basic but I don’t know why they have caught my eye so much.

What advice do you have for people looking to get more out of social media?

Angel: Some advice that I have for others starting in the social media and fashion industry is to always be open minded and be willing to take some risks in order to grow. Also always have protection on your accounts as well and always review contracts most of all just be aware of everything that is going on and take every opportunity you get.

What are some of your favorite brands to work with?

Angel: Currently I am looking forward to working with Ignite again in their following trip to Brazil and Colombia where I will be modeling their bikini brand.

What are some events coming up that you are looking for to?

Angel: I am also looking forward to a few photo shoots I have coming up in Los Angeles that are great for promo for my Instagram account and much more that I can’t think of the moment.
