GETTING TO KNOW USC RUNNING BACK MATT COLOMBO

Tell us about yourself and your fashion style. Are you more into style or comfort?

Matt: Hi, I’m Matt Colombo. I’m California raised, and go to school and play football at USC. I’m passionate about traveling, enjoying new experiences and always indulging in great food. My style is often that ‘old money’ vintage look where I tend to be more comfortable during the day and stylish at night.

What are some of your favorite brands to wear on and off the field? What do you like most about them?

Matt: Some of my favorite brands on the field are Nike and Lululemon for their extreme comfort and performance. Off the field, a lot of my graphic tees come from Urban or Abercrombie. But I will always wear Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein when dressing up.

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?

Matt: My favorite way to spend an off day would be sleeping in and going to brunch before hitting the beach where I can chill and enjoy the people around me. I love to get dressed for a good steak dinner and couple of drinks in LA.

What are some locations on your bucket list to travel to, and why?

Matt: Although I’ve been to Italy before, I really want to enjoy the coastline more particularly Amalfi as well as I’ve always wanted to visit Greece.

What is some advice that you have for athletes that are looking to stand out and improve in their sport?

Matt: Everyone starts out looking to be the best, but only the ones with the most consistency will finish out on top.
