GETTING TO KNOW FASHION MODEL ARI POP

How did you get started in the modeling industry?

Ari: I honestly have always had a huge infatuation with fashion since I was a kid.

At literally age 2 I didn’t let my mom dress me anymore and my mom said I would choose outfits she’d never even think of pairing together but they always ended up looking cute.

I then took my interest for fashion and decided to pursue it in college so I moved to NYC and attended a fashion business college in Manhattan called LIM.

Loved my experience there but being so young, fresh out of High school and going to a city like New York was extremely overwhelming so I decided to go to a big university and move across the country to attend University of Arizona.

I’m now two semesters away from having my Bachelors Degree in Fashion and Humanities and a minor in business! I’m hoping to be a fashion buyer out of college then move on to owning a business in the near future.

What advice do you have for people looking to get more out of social media?

Ari: Be consistent! I never listened to people when they told me to be consistent but it makes all the difference. I started posting more content and reaching out to more brands and from that I gained a wider audience. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.
